Brahma Kumaris vzw Belgium, as data controller, is responsible for making this privacy statement available to data subjects before Brahma Kumaris vzw collects and processes their personal data.

All volunteers of Brahma Kumaris vzw who interact with data subjects are responsible for bringing this notice to the attention of the data subject and for obtaining their consent to the processing of their data.

3.1
Who are we?
Brahma Kumaris vzw teaches Raja Yoga as a way to experience peace of mind and a positive approach to life.
The organisation offers opportunities for people of all religious and cultural backgrounds to explore their own spirituality and learn skills of reflection and meditation derived from Raja Yoga, which will help them develop inner peace, clear thinking and personal well-being.

The Brahma Kumaris vzw websites keep track of general visitor data, including your computer's IP address, the time of retrieval and data sent by your browser. Retention period
Brahma Kumaris vzw processes personal data for as long as strictly necessary in accordance with GDPR requirements and stores personal data in accordance with the Brahma Kumaris vzw retention policy for archiving.

At any time that we hold or process your personal data, you, the data subject, have the following rights:
Right of access and inspection - you have the right to request a copy of the information we hold about you.
Right of rectification - you have the right to correct any data we hold about you that is inaccurate or incomplete.

This privacy statement explains how we, Brahma Kumaris vzw, collect and use your personal data to invite you to events, retreats or public programmes, to comply with the legal requirements of the data controller, such as insurance purposes, health and safety regulations, financial regulations, immigration laws, child protection laws, etc.

We need to collect personal data so that we can provide you with information about public events, retreats, or to welcome you as a guest at our location, or in accordance with legal requirements. If we wish to contact you for marketing purposes, Brahma Kumaris vzw will contact you for additional consent.

Will Brahma Kumaris vzw share my personal data with anyone else?
